Mr. Allen Bailochan Tuladhar is an entrepreneur developing skills of thousands using technology in Nepal. Mr. Tuladhar has made a network of over 100 academic institutions supporting over 68,000 students to benefit from innovation, technology and entrepreneurship in education. Currently a Microsoft Regional Director, he is also the Trustee at Edunet Nepal, Chairperson at BrainWork solutions and founder at Unlimited Technologies , which is now 25 years old pioneering IT company in Nepal.

Adding on, Mr. Tuladhar has also driven partnerships with various development sector organizations like UNICEF, UNDP, WWF, WFP and even UNDP Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand to see how technology, entrepreneurship and the youth can be mobilized in a multi-stakeholder partnership model, including providing investments to startups at the idea stage with impact funding and has been instrumental in bringing about digital transformation with the adoption of emerging technologies like the cloud and mobile.




Amrit Gurung is the man behind Nepal foremost folk rock band, Nepathya, and is a role model of Nepal youth. He uses the medium of music and photography to spread his message of peace directly to the people. He is a compulsive traveler and has trekked across 73 of Nepal 75 districts.




Anil Chitrakar is a veteran social entrepreneur and environmentalist honored with many awards. Mr. Chitrakar has worked towards improving the social and development fabric of Nepal.




Anil Shah, the CEO of Mega Bank, is not only a successful banker and a businessman but a man with high motivational power, leadership skills and futuristic plans which have helped bring a breakthrough in the banking arena.




Dr. Aruna Uprety has been actively involved in issues of public health, women rights, and nutrition. She has worked as a public health specialist in several developing countries including South Sudan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Laos, India, and Afghanistan. She is a strong advocate of public health policies.




Former Deputy CEO of Clean Energy Development Bank (CEDB), has been in the banking sector for almost three decades. One of the leading women in Nepal’s business landscape, she is also the Director of Women Development for Rotary Club of Kasthamandap, Board Member of Samriddhi-The Prosperity Foundation, and Convener of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Forum of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). Her professional contributions have been honored with numerous awards including “Woman Manager Recognition Award-2010” from the Management Association of Nepal.




Former Secretary of Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation (MoFSC), Government of Nepal. With more than 30 years of experience in various government positions, including as Secretary of the Water and Energy Commission, Secretary of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (MoSTE), Government of Nepal. With more than 30 years of experience in various government positions, including as Secretary of the Water and Energy Commission, Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation(MoFSC); Chief Administrator for the Eastern Development Region; and Chief of the Environment Division, MoFSC; Dr. Poudel has led several delegations of the Government of Nepal in international negotiations, and has served as the national focal person for UNFCCC, CBD, and Ramsar conventions, as well as other international positions. He is a permanent academician with the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology.




Dr. Awasthi is the Chairperson of the Language Commission in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal. He has gained a wide range of experience and expertise while working in different capacities for more than 30 years including the Social Welfare Council, District Education Office, Curriculum Development Centre, Higher Secondary Education Board, and National Centre for Educational Development, Basic and Primary Education Project, Department of Education and Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal. Dr. Awasthi was the former Director General of the Department of Education. He also served as Joint Secretary and Head of the Panning Division in the Ministry of Education. Dr Awasthi then got promoted as the Secretary of the Government of Nepal.

Dr. Awasthi has taught in a number of university campuses and was a Visiting Faculty in Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University of Nepal. He has supervised many research students on doctoral and master level courses for PhD and MPhil programs on language and diversity related topics.

Dr. Awasthi was awarded with Suprabal Janasewashree by the President of Nepal (in 2015) for outstanding contribution in public service, Nepal Vidya Bhusan “Ka” (Nepal Education Medal “A”) by His Majesty the King (in 2006) for his PhD research, the Order of Gorkha Dakshin Bahu by His Majesty the King (in 1994), Education Day Medal and Letter of Appreciation (in 2004) by the Ministry of Education, and was facilitated with a letter of appreciation by the Government of Nepal for outstanding contribution to good governance and fiscal reforms, and was decorated with Coronation Silver Jubilee Medal (in 1996) by His Majesty the King.




Madan Rai is an agriculturist and a social worker. Mr. Rai has worked wonders in rural Khotang and Mustang with his innovative ideas on Agriculture Methods to bring about increased production and sustainability.




CEO at the Idea Studio 2016. A Former Miss Nepal, Malvika Subba has worked in television, corporate world, event management, as Editor for two local magazines. An activist, actor, professional emcee and an entrepreneur she has also ventured into choreography and training; and film making.




The CEO of Prisma Advertising, Ranjit Acharya is known as the guru of advertising. Apart from being a businessman, he has also shown his flair as a director, a lyricist, an orator and a motivational speaker.




Rita Thapa founded and led Tewa (1995/2001), the innovative Nepal Women’s Fund and Nagarik Aawaz (2001/2009) the peace-building initiative. She has over thirty-five years of experience as a feminist educator and a community activist. Some of her volunteer associations include being on the International Committee of the Regional Center for Strategic Studies, Colombo/Sri Lanka, and SACEPS (South Asia Center for Policy Studies), Sangat, and SWAF – the South Asian Women’s Fund. She is a former board member and Chair of the Global Fund for Women, and served on the Executive Board of the Urgent Action Fund. She is current Board member of the Global Fund for Community Foundations.

She was named an Ashoka Fellow (1997-98), Dame Nita Barrow Distinguished Visitor at the University of Toronto (2002), and a 1000 Peace Women across the Globe.




Senior Advocate associated with Nepal Law Firm. Ms. Baral supervises more than 6 Advocates and has held prominent positions in the past as former Commissioner to the National Information Commission, Singhdurbar, former and Treasurer to the Nepal Bar Association. Ms. Baral has conducted more than 100 women’s literacy training classes in various districts of Nepal and till date provide a free service to disadvantaged women through Nepal Law firm.




Sujeev Shakya is the founder CEO of Beed Management, he chairs the Nepal Economic Forum and he is author of the bestseller, Unleashing Nepal – Past, Present and Future of the Economy. He is a Chartered Accountant and also conducts Leadership Thinkshops as Thought Facilitator.
